Set within south Buckinghamshire, Gerrards Cross is regarded as a highly desirable commuter location situated on the immediate western outskirts of the M25 orbital. Subsequently, it is within convenient access to London via superb communication links, local train services from Gerrards Cross station and the adjacent M25 and M40 motorways, whilst additionally being located within picturesque and scenic open countryside.

This prime commuter location has been principally developed from the arrival of the railways at the turn of the 19th century. However, whilst housing little in the way of victorian housing there was a large element of development within the 1930s to 1950s of substantial 3 to 4 bedroom semi-detached and detached properties along tree lined avenues. Subsequent construction has taken place from the 1960s to include more modern executive style developments/individual properties to today’s date.
 
Throughout Gerrards Cross and the immediate area may be found all of your everyday needs from supermarkets, most national high street banks and numerous locally owned stores. However, nearby local larger conurbations such as High Wycombe, Amersham and Uxbridge all offer a further variety of the same.
 
In addition the area is well known for excellent schooling and its variety of local sporting and leisure facilities is reportedly enviable providing several golf courses, tennis clubs and squash clubs all within a short distance.

Furthermore the area’s communications are excellent with the railway station within Gerrards Cross itself and the M25 and M40 motorways, which abut the village to its eastern and southern fringes, respectively. In all providing an excellent commuting location, in particular providing convenient access to Heathrow, central London and nearby conurbations.
