Good news for residents of Stanwell Moor

Whilst Heathrow still remains firmly in the running for expansion, there has been good news for the residents of Stanwell Moor and parts of Wraysbury which have been saved from being demolished.

The Airports Commission has recently shortlisted three proposals; the north-west option to create a new 3,500m runway and terminal, the second option is the extension of Heathrow’s existing Northern runway to 6000m and the third option is a second 3,000m runway at Gatwick.

According to Jeremy Boyle, Associate Director for The Frost Partnership in Middlesex comments, “The news that the south west option has been dropped from the list of potential locations is fantastic for the residents of Stanwell Moor and for parts of Wraysbury who would have lost their homes.  As a result, both Stanwell and Wraysbury villages will be less affected by noise pollution and instead can look forward to potential growth for the area if one of the two remaining Heathrow options is selected in 2015. There will be more employment; more people will therefore need to move into the area and potentially there will be a rise in house values both in sales and rental returns.

“We remain committed to providing residents of Stanwell Moor, Stanwell, and Wraysbury a professional sales (NAEA) and lettings (ARLA) property service though our network of 13 branches, four of which are in Wraysbury, Staines, Ashford and Feltham. If you are looking to place your property on the market this year, please do not hesitate to call your local Frost Partnership sales or lettings branch.”
