New Year New Start Event

New Year New Start Event - Saturday 19th January - Vanburgh Court, Slough. Could 2019 be the year you purchase your first home? Those considering a new home purchase this year are being urged to consider Slough, and the exciting new Vanburgh Court development. On Saturday 19th January, Mackenzie Homes is hosting a ‘New Year New Start’ event at its impressive new show apartment at Vanburgh Court.

All those attending the event will be able to access free independent mortgage advice on the day from an Independent Financial Advisor, who will also be able to provide advice and guidance on the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, which is available here. For those opting to make a reservation at the event, they will also be able to benefit from a free, exclusive, interior-designed furniture package as an added incentive, making it even more affordable to purchase your first home at Vanburgh Court.

Taj Sangha, Director, Mackenzie Homes: “With its central location, so close to the train station and within easy reach of the town centre, home buyers at Vanburgh Court will be well connected. As more big employers continue to choose Slough as their base, the impending arrival of Crossrail and with a significant regeneration programme underway – delivering new and improved leisure and school facilities, it’s an exciting time to be securing a new home here. I would encourage anyone who is considering a move this year to come along to our event. You are under no obligation, but you can access free, mortgage advice and our team will be on hand to help many would-be buyers explore how we could make homeownership a reality for them.”

Last year, Slough was voted the best place to work for a second year running (Glassdoor research) and it was also voted ‘Town of the Year’ at the Thames Valley Property Awards – highlighting its growing prominence within the region.

Vanburgh Court comprises an impressive collection of one and two bedroom apartments in a prime, central location – just 200 metres from Slough’s impending Crossrail station and a short stroll from the town’s improving high street. Each apartment at Vanburgh Court offers a high internal specification. A lift service will provide easy access to every floor, while each apartment will also benefit from a concierge service, the added convenience of a private, internal store and underground parking is also available.

The first phase of homes here has now sold out. Phase two comprises 79 one and two bedroom apartments with prices starting at £244,950. The properties are available for purchase off-plan, with completions anticipated for summer 2019. Help to Buy is available. Visit www.vanburghcourt.com or call The Frost Partnership Slough office  on 01753 820000 for more information or to enquire about the New Year, New Home event. The event will run between 10am and 5pm on Saturday 19th January 2019.

Help to Buy is a Government backed scheme, which is accessible for all movers – not just first-time buyers. You can own 100% of your home with just a 5% deposit and a 75% mortgage. With a Help to Buy Equity Loan the Government lends you up to 20% of the cost of your newly built home, so you’ll only need a 5% cash deposit and a 75% mortgage to make up the rest. This means you own 100% of your home and you can take advantage of lower mortgage repayments. You won’t be charged loan fees on the 20% loan for the first five years of owning your home. Help to Buy is available on new homes with a value up to £600,000.
