In the current property market where demand is high and supply still low, it can be straightforward to find a buyer. It’s not unusual to have multiple offers to consider and new research from Zoopla shows that the time it takes for a house to receive an accepted offer is the quickest it has been for years - 42% lower than in 2016. However, with one in five accepted offers not reaching completion for a variety of reasons, the hard part can be getting the sale over the line to exchange and completion. The adage “it’s a marathon, not a sprint” sums it up and once an offer has been accepted, that’s when you find how good your agent really is.
