It has excellent transport links, with mainline railway stations at Burnham and Taplow, connecting to London Paddington, Slough and Reading. With the advent of Crossrail, journey times will improve even further and this has already contributed to the rise in property prices in the area.

Congratulations to our Chesham office which has been awarded Silver at “Chesham in Bloom” for their planter and hanging baskets. Chesham was one of the finalists in Britain in Bloom representing Thames and Chilterns as the best large town in the area.

Specialist house builder and brownfield developer Inland Homes is holding a ‘Help to Buy’ event at its popular Venture House and Voyager Place developments in Staines upon Thames this Saturday 7th October, from 10am to 5pm. Potential buyers are invited to come along and find out more about the Government’s Help to Buy scheme, which is available to assist with purchasing one of the final apartments. There will also be an independent financial advisor at the event between 12 and 3pm, who will be able to assist with any financial queries, and an independent solicitor for any legal questions.

Franky Viccars from our Beaconsfield office recently had the honour of selling the home of a retired soldier, who served his country for 40 years in the Irish Guards. He was proud to be selected after several interviews to join the Royal Hospital, Chelsea as a Chelsea Pensioner where he joins some of the veterans he already knows, although at 75 years old he’s still one of the youngest!

The Frost Commercial team is pleased to have brought an 18 month long search for suitable premises to a happy conclusion for veterinary husband and wife team Michael and Clare Hamilton. Frost Commercial were recommended to them and retained to find suitable premises to create a super vet hospital. 6000sq ft of warehouse and industrial space was found for the Hamiltons at Halifax Road on the Cressex Industrial Estate and Frost Commercial introduced specialist planning consultants to advise the Hamiltons regarding change of use.
