Autumn – time for a mini makeover?

Monday, September 11, 2017

September brings a “back to school” chill in the air and with no sign of an Indian summer it’s a great time to give your home a mini makeover, adding warmth and texture to every room. The Old Vicarage in Wraysbury is a Grade II Listed family home set in over four acres in total. Its origins lie in the early 15th century; some parts date back to the early 1400s when Henry V was King of England and is almost certainly the oldest residential property in the parish. The average British worker spends a staggering 11 working weeks every year commuting to and from work, so it’s no surprise to find commuters looking for properties with great transport connections. Simply by moving to a new home in Buckinghamshire, Berkshire or Middlesex for example, they could cut the time and money they spend commuting with significant cost savings over central London property prices.

Summer days!

Wednesday, July 26, 2017

With July almost over, there’s still time for some simple styling to make the most of the summer. Think of your home as a holiday house, and you'll see it in a whole new light. Ocean shades, sunshine yellows and crisp white woodwork really capture the essence of summer along with beach inspired décor, stripes for a nautical look and the feeling of living in a beach house. Muted colours and serene blues make a room feel more spacious by reflecting light, whilst all over white is instantly refreshing.
