Franky Viccars from our Beaconsfield office recently had the honour of selling the home of a retired soldier, who served his country for 40 years in the Irish Guards. He was proud to be selected after several interviews to join the Royal Hospital, Chelsea as a Chelsea Pensioner where he joins some of the veterans he already knows, although at 75 years old he’s still one of the youngest!

Frost Commercial were recommended to them and retained to find suitable premises to create a super vet hospital. 6000sq ft of warehouse and industrial space was found for the Hamiltons at Halifax Road on the Cressex Industrial Estate and Frost Commercial introduced specialist planning consultants to advise the Hamiltons regarding change of use.

Thinking of moving? A recent survey has named Slough as the best town in the country for jobs with a score of 4.2, placing it above Manchester (4.0) Cambridge (4.0) and Swindon (3.9). The recent survey by jobs website Glassdoor found that the Berkshire town, located on the M4 technology corridor, came first for work, employee satisfaction and cost of living. The research from Glassdoor also revealed that Slough's median base salary is £35,000, there are over 26,000 vacancies in Slough and the median home value is just over £390,000.
